 VIGILANTE GROUP SUBJECTED A FEMALE CORP MEMBER TO TORTURE BY STRIPPING HER NAKED


The foremost human right activist, comrade OGODOGUN NEWTON has condemned in Strong the incident that happened in ANAMBRA state men officers of the vigilante group stormed a lodge meant for corpers and descended on them like common criminals even when they tender their identification cards them.

I personally called the police relations officer (PPRO) SP Ikenga  Tochukwu via phone call conversation and I told him categorically that if the command  should fail to act,i will personally sue them.

After a while,the PPRO , called me that the men of the vigilante group that went for the operation has been arrested and that the Governor is interested in the matter,Cos I told him as well that I already called the PA to the state Governor on the issue.

The command promised me that investigation will be carried out the the officers will be made to face the law..

I told him ,those vigilante.must have asked her and she refused and they came in uniform to mess them up..

And I also stressed that those corps members involved should be compensated according.that the human right body will be waiting for the action.

I also promised to be in ANAMBRA to follow up the case.. The parent the corps member from Delta spoke to me on phone and I promised them justice for their daughter.
