Friday, October 3, 2025 60 year old American woman dıes in lover’s home in Warri, Nigeria after flying miles to visit him from the U.S.A. A trip that was supposed to be a happy reunion has ended in tragedy. Jacqueline Bolling Elton, a 60-year-old woman from the United States, flew thousands of miles to meet her 39-year-old Nigerian boyfriend, Alawode Olaide, but she sadly passed away at his home in Warri, Delta State. The story had captured a lot of attention on social media, with many seeing it as proof that love can bridge large distances and differences in age. Superhux.blogspot.com  reports that an Ikeja Magistrate Court sitting in Ogba , Lagos State , on Wednesday, discharged Emmanson , accused of unruly behaviour and assault aboard an Ibom Air flight . The presiding Magistrate, Olanrewaju Salami , struck out the case after the withdrawal of the five-count charge filed against her by the police. At the resumed hearing, the prosecution counsel, Oluwabunmi Adeitan , informed the court of “new developments” necessitating the withdrawal of the case. She tendered a formal application for discontinuance, which the court accepted. The decision came on the heels of an earlier announcement by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo ( SAN ), who revealed that the case would be discontinued following consultations with stakeholders in the aviation sector. Hyacinth Alia, has dissolved the state executive council, retaining only the office of Chief of Staff, which will now be occupied by former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Moses Atagher. Atagher, a seasoned administrator and former acting Managing Director of the Federal Mortgage Bank, was announced as the new Chief of Staff with immediate effect at the close of the 12th executive council meeting of the state . Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Terso Kula, disclosed that the dissolution affects only the commissioners.
